The Annapolis Brass Quintet will perform together for the first time since 1993 to honor the memory of the legendary jazz guitarist, Charlie Byrd, who passed away in December 1999. The ABQ and the Charlie Byrd Trio, performing as Byrd & Brass, thrilled audiences with their unique combination of a world class brass chamber ensemble and an internationally renowned jazz trio. The ABQ and the Charlie Byrd Trio performed together from 1985 through 1992, with over 50 performances throughout the United States, and recorded two albums, Byrd and Brass and Christmas with Byrd and Brass.

Tickets and Information

Tickets for the concert are open (festival) seating, and are $22.00 each, including 10% Anne Arundel County Admissions and Amusements Tax.

A reception with the performers will follow the concert.
